Eleanor was born in London. She obtained a Foundation Course in Art and Design and a BA(Hons) in Graphic Design. Since moving to New York in 2007 Eleanor has pursued her passion for art with study at the Art Students League of New York and the classical atelier, Grand Central Academy of Art. Her work can be found in the US, Europe and Barbados.

Eleanor's abstract and figurative art is a reflection of her ambition to express her visions through drawing and painting. It is the result of classical study combined with fast gestural movement that channel and stimulate the subconscious. The works are expressive of her feelings both positive and conflicted. Motion, flow, energy and passion are the instinctual elements that find their way into her work.

The human figure with its proportional and balanced structure is the inspiration and foundation of her work. The urban environment in which she lives is further inspiration, she mentally absorbs snapshots of life, color, texture, decay, motion, sound, joy, sadness and renewal. The figure is abstracted, freeing her from representation constraints. Eleanor works intuitively, not quite knowing what will emerge. The work takes on a life of it's own, a version of reality, stimulation the viewer's imagination and allowing for their participation in the creative process.

Such collaboration is Eleanors reward.
